today my mom turns 66 years old
i am so lucky that she is my mother,
she is one of those rare people
that is almost always smiling
she doesn't believe in worrying
she spent most of her life caring for other people
as an oncologist nurse
she has survived two husbands because
she truly loves life
her greatest joys are her family and traveling
i have always been proud that she is my mom
she worked outside the home
had a career, supported all of us
never ever complained
i wish for her
peace
i wish for her
love
i wish for her
what she has always given to us
