i like to think of myself as driving a hundred miles an hour, top down, hair flying in the breeze, tunes cranked to the max....no rear view mirror on board
but in reality i am just amother (cool new word~anothermother) trying to make it through.
i have been many things/people in my short life, and looking back i don't know how i made it this far. i am amazed at my courage despite my vulnerabilities.
people I admire
My Husband, My Daughters, My Best Friends, Parents, Teachers, Zealots, Radicals, Martyrs, The Founding Fathers of our Country, Every Woman born before 1980, Every Male Feminist ,
People who can forgive;...especially themselves......
I admire the glory of this world ; the beauty of the sun on the water, the wind on my face, the smell of lilacs coming in the window in May, the communion one can create with a fire on a summer night, the peace I see in the flame of one candle, the ability to touch other people's souls through music, the beauty of the full moon that fills me anew with hope.........
Life is such a wonderful adventure...
Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky.~ Rabindranath Tagore
